Pink :: When is your Spring Break?
Ours starts Friday afternoon and all of next week. I know, I know...we took Little Think out of school for our Maui trip and now she gets another week off. She will forget what it's like to be at school!
I wanted to give the teachers a little treat to start their vacation off right. Found Reese's Fast Break candy bars and a pack of 3.5" springs at Home Depot. Used the cute wide brown poka dot ribbon you sent me to hide the word Fast on the candy bar and attach the spring. Might put them in a cello bag with a sticker. Not sure yet.
Another variation could use Jaw Breakers but the candy bars were easier to find last minute. Unfortunately the springs were kind of pricey at almost $5 for 4 of them. Next year I will start earlier and try to find them at a dollar store or something.
Another use could be to attach the spring to another treat like lemon cookies or loaf of bread and deliver to friends on the First Day of Spring (March 20th) next week.
Or if someone is sick "Hope to see a spring in your step soon"
or recovering from surgery "Hope you spring back into action fast"
Any other "springy" ideas?
