My new best friend is Craig. I look on his list every day. Since we are moving and seriously have no furniture to put in our new house (yes. I think we found a house) I am scouring the free list for anything great that all these D.C. city folk are trying to give away.
Seriously checking the free list on your local craigslist should be a daily event for any bargain hunter.
I thought I would put some interesting things I have found this past week.
Very Ugly Functional Table
(if this would have been closer I would have been all over this one)
2 satellite dishes still up on roof, you climb and get them they are yours. Free
Free Victorian sofa, needs some love
AHH!!! How great would this look with a big Pink and White Check fabric with lime green pillows.
Mr. Pink said "no way am I hauling that across country"
Free glass slider doors
Free picture...fabric panel with Lion.
Has seen a better day, but if you want it.
No Glass... used for photo shoots...complete hardware ... no keys...Doors are 24 inches wide each...
Free!
ok these are so tempting. Have no idea what I would do with them, but I am sure you and I could come up with something.
LOT OF VINTAGE NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC 1970s-2000 ~122 Magazines
how fun would these be to look through.
VINTAGE SLATTERY GAS STOVE OVEN RANGE
Ok this is just cool and they said it works
My daughter is now getting older and we would like to donate her
current bedroom furniture to another little girl who will love it as
much as she has. We want one family to take everything we have to
offer. If you can't take it all, do not email us. SEND ME AN EMAIL ON
WHO THE FURNITURE IS FOR AND WHERE YOU WILL BE COMING FROM. THIS MUST
BE FOR A LITTLE GIRL!!

Kristi, Those french doors would be great inside your house. I've looked at several houses here, that had these to shut off a formal living room or dining room from the rest of the house. If they are still available, I'd grab them. You could use them somehow, I'm sure!

Ugh! It looks like DC has some GREAT Craigslist stuff... I haven't been that fortunate here in Colorado, sorry. :( And that playhouse would go for $100 out here...
