Dear Think ::
Hi girl. My grocery store is getting a serious makeover. The are staying open while they continue to remodel the entire store. The bad news is that everything is on a new shelf every week but the good news is that we are getting in a lot of new and different products that I have not seen before. Like this Batter Blaster. It is pancake batter in a spray can. This would be so perfect for camping! It was $5.99 a can and buying cool things to write about on our blog just to try them are NOT in Mr. Pink's budget plan for me - so I opted for a photo (yea iPhone) But I do love promoting new ideas and products so give them some love and check out their website and darling jingle.

I also was thrilled to finally come up with the idea to grow my own cilantro. I am constantly running to the store to just buy cilantro since we make this yummy rice recipe every week! It is straight from the Shenandoah Valley! (the cilantro not the recipe)
Here is the rice recipe. 3 c water
4 t chicken bouillon
4 t garlic –minced
½ bunch cilantro
1 can green chilies—or equivalent fresh
¾ t salt
1 T butter
½ onion
3 c rice
Blend cilantro, green chilies and onion together in food processor. Bring water to a boil and add all ingredients, simmer covered 30 minutes.
Have a great Thursday

We've tried the Batter Blaster here and LOVE it. So whenever you decide to try it it will be well worth your money. I think Mr. Pink will like it too. My husband is the one who likes it most of all---oh, and also, my super picky picky little boy. Thanks for the rice recipe. I'll be trying it.

I hated the Batter Blaster. I thought it was over priced ($3.99 at my grocery store), but wanted to give it a try anyway. It doesn't have any flavor and my waffles were thin. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I was so excited when I saw the Batter Blasters at our grocery store - I had the same camping idea that you had. We decided to splurge and buy a can to try out at home.
We were not impressed. The pancakes seemed a bit thin and we couldn't get them thicker. Also, the can malfunctioned and quit squirting while there was still a ton of batter inside. We tried numerous times to get more batter out but were never successful. I felt sick that we weren't able to use all of our "expensive" batter.
I'm sticking to homemade batter or Bisquick.
