Dear Pink::
In my quest to figure out how to not have another Christmas like this one...ie. last minute shipping that cost more than the gifts, half of the decorations not put up, running around like crazy loon on little sleep, no neighbor gifts, not feeling the Christmas Spirit and having a genral, all around, grouchy mood... I am sooooooooo doing this website's planner next year.
Still feeling a wee bit Scroogy about it all:: Think

I like the format of this blog - a conversation between you two ladies... but I feel like an intruder by leaving a comment. I did, however, just want to comment on a book that I enjoyed this year called Simplify Your Christmas by Elaine St. James. I didn't love everything, but it did help me to put things back into perspective when it comes to holiday celebrations. You may like it. Thanks for all your great ideas. I really love seeing what you will both come up with next.

Now IS the time to make positive changes for next year - now while you still feel the sting and anxiety that you experienced in the past week. Believe me, I've been through this, and as a result of our quest to do better, my friend and I created a class called Cut the Crazy out of Christmas. We created a planner that is available on the Cut the Crazy out of Christmas blog - cutthecrazy.blogspot.com. We taught the class on Big Picture Scrapbooking.com this year and the planner was a hit. It really does help. We're in the "review and resolve" stage right now.

What a great site, thanks for the tip. I left everything to the last minute, again. I tell myself every year that it'll be diffrent, but it's not. I think it's my 'thing'.

Ah, a safe place to say that I'm glad Christmas is over.

Barb's comment totally cracked me up! I'm going to look into these resources, because NOW is the time to make a plan for a better Christmas next time around, while I'm still feeling the pain of all that chaos...
