Dearest Pink::
I am finally able to take a breath. So crazy these last few weeks. And you know me....I like to "think" rather than "do" so I am always in a panic when a deadline looms. Thanks for doing all the talking on this blog for the last little while.
So, my front door decor. On one of my be-like-Pink Goodwill sprees I found this organizer basket.
It didn't do much for me as an actual desk organizer but I thought it had potential for other uses. I glued some of the fabulous ribbon you sent me on the bottom and threw in scraps from my Christmas tree and other stuff from my yard. (Do you always take your cuttings from the Tree Lot? We usually get our tree at Lowes and I raid the clippings pile. I love FREE! I use it all over my house.) Then I used flat thumbtacks to attached the ribbon to the top edge of the door and let it hang.
Turned out pretty cute I think. It might need the metal hanging ornament from your front door decor but I'm pretty proud of it because it only cost me $1.99! I think I am going to use it alot just changing out the ribbon and what I stuff inside. I am look forward to that fact that I can color block it with different flowers in each section in the spring.
Any ideas of other stuff to put in it later?
Off to actually put up my tree at 9pm December 20th :: Think

Dear super clever people,
Oh how i envy you. I love that you turned one thing into something else. I love that part of Real Simple too but then I always forget the suggestions. Um,,, I know pink has links to her ribbons stores but i am curious as to the exact type of ribbon she bought jill (the white ribbon). I go to those ribbon sites but i don't know where to start or what would be a good kind of ribbon for a good deal and uses. please help...

Love this- and YES I have the same basket which sadly I paid full price for at Pier One ages ago but now have great new plans for it! You're the best!
